Hi,

I am monitoring two application on one AppD controller.

For application one I am using a machine agent with a monitor extension (URL Monitor, http://community.appdynamics.com/t5/eXchange-Community-AppDynamics/Url-Monitoring-Extension/idi-p/79... The machine Agents is associated with this application.

The problem is in metric browser! In application two I can see the metrics of the monitor extension of application one (the names of the metrics are in the metric tree, in timeline are no value). Why are metrics of application one in the metric tree of application two?

Regards,

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

I believe we see such issues when machine agnet is auto registered to other application since machine unique host name resolved is same for few of the appserver agents from both applications as such , refer how to resolve such cases using -Dappdynamics.agent.uniqueHostId arguement as stated in docs https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO40/Configure+Multiple+Standalone+Machine+Agents+for+One+Mach...

Before we see above is the case, we request you to send the machine agent logs that is reporting to both the apps and sctreenshot from controller UI and screenshot from Setup -> AppDynamics Agents screen

Regards,

Arun
