Hi there,

how can I change the default path from $SPLUNK_DB
I think default path is /opt/splunk/var/lib/splunk

I now that I can edit it in my indexes.conf file. But in which file SPLUNK_DB is defined?

thanks in advance

You can define it in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/splunk-launch.conf
