Also, how to get Splunk volume usage and Top 10 apps for every month/quarter ?

your question is rather vague: what data do you have available?
Anyway, you should extract the information (e.g. using a Technology Add-On such as Splunk_TA_Windows) and then save them in an index or a lookup.
Then periodically you could run the search again and see if there are any updates.
