issues with Ansible Monitoring and Diag app,Ansible Monitoring and Diag

I am having issues with getting data into the Ansible Monitoring and Diag app

I have modified ~/.ansible.cfg with the callback configuration including updating the token and url

I have copied splunk.py to my playbook inside a folder called callbacks

Firewall is open on port 8088 no SSL as per the instructions.

If I look at the ansible.log it would appear the call back isn't being called.,I have followed the instructions placed the callback configuration into ~/.ansible.cfg updated the URL and TOKEN

In a test play I have created a folder called callbacks and copied the splunk.py script in.

When I run the play it completes successfully but the call back never gets called. I have checked /var/log/anisble.log and tcpdump 8088 on my splunk server.

It appears the callback never gets calls.

Any pointers on how to get this working it looks quite useful.

We didn't use the app as it didn't have SSL, but quite easy to use the inbuilt "ansible syslogger" module to log into syslog. Then use Splunk UF to collect and Index into Splunk and is quite simple.
