hunk installation

Hi,
I installed the trial version for splunk&hunk without the license.
Now I'm trying to follow the tutorial in Hunk-6.0-Hunk_User_Manual.
I'm trying to perform step 5: configuring an HDFS provider.
I can't see the option virtual indexes under settings -> data
What can be the problem?

This happened to me during beta, I had obtained the wrong version. Are you on Linux 64 bit?

You have to add the Hunk license in order to see the virtual index information. See http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Hunk/6.0.1/Hunk/LicenseHunk.

In 6.1 Hunk and Splunk are two separate packages, thus Hunk functionality cannot be enabled by simply adding a license to a Splunk Enterprise package.

I have the same problem. Downloaded the 6.1.0-206983 archive, unzipped it, and restarted Splunk. The Hunk trial license shows up as valid, but the "Virtual Indexes" link isn't in the GUI.
