I have Splunk DB Connect set up for postgress, but upon validate I get:

Error: com.zaxxer.hikari.pool.HikariPool$PoolInitializationException: Failed to initialize pool: FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "77.243.XX.YYY", user "musicbrainz", database "musicbrainz", SSL off

77.243.XX.YYY is the IP for the splunk server (single server) - and It seems Validate just ignores the value in "Host" and takes the IP for the localhost.....

The RPC is working and the driver located....

I misread the Error, the problem was that the Postgres did not allow connections. Changing pg_hba.conf solved it:

host all all 0.0.0.0/0 md5
