Will the Splunk App for Salesforce become available for on-premises Spunk?

Ive noticed the Splunk App for Salesforce is only supported for Splunk for Cloud ... will it become available for on-premises Splunk?

App is now downloadable and available for on-prem Splunk. I am testing it now, need to get it to work through a proxy and SHC.

Im refering to the Splunk App for Salesforce ... the first line from your link states;

Splunk App for Salesforce is only available as a service in Splunk Cloud.
