Why not merge kinesis Modular Input at Splunk Add-on for Amazon Web Services?

Splunk Add-on for Amazon Web Services give a huge help on get data from Amazon and I thanks for have this great app avaliable for us.

I just can't understand why Amazon Kinesis Modular Input another amazing apps isn't part of Splunk Add-on project? Any chance to merge it?

These were created by 2 entirely different parties.But I'll raise it internally and see what folks think.
