Why is the Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP causing 100% CPU on the Splunk indexer/search head?

When I attempt to look at a volume in the Proactive Monitoring > Volume Detail section, Splunk CPU's on the indexer/search head go to 100% and I have to power the box off to resolve this. I am running NetApp Data ONTAP 2.1.1 and Splunk Enterprise 6.3.1 on Windows 2012 R2.

NetApp Data ONTAP is only supported on a Linux Search Head.
