Why does the Splunk Add-on for Cisco UCS not respect root_endpoint set in web.conf?

Hello!

In our environment, we have the root_endpoint set in web.conf so that our splunk url is:

https://hostname/splunk/en-US/...

instead of:

https://hostname/en-US/...

I am now attempting to install this TA, and the controls are all broken. This appears to be due to it not including that root_endpoint in its own urls.

Example: Here is one of the configuration screens. The controls are locked out, and there is a 404 showing for one of the underlying calls:
bad url

Hitting that URL directly, with the web_root inserted responds appropriately.

good url

Is this just a bug with the app, or is there some control somewhere to fix this?

Hi, a failure to respect custom root end-points is a bug -- please file a support ticket so we can validate and fix.
