Hi,

Our Splunk DB Connect App 1 suddenly stopped running and it's continuously showing Java Bridge status as "Loading".
Using MS SQL server Database & with library jtds1.3.jar
Java is Upgraded from 1.7 to 1.8 (i.e. JRE 1.8 jre8u66), still we weren't able to solve this issue.
We have uninstalled and installed the DB App 1, but still it's not working.
We have deleted state.xml file also.

Can anyone please help me, how to resolve this issue.

Which version of DB Connect 1 are you using? Not all versions of DB Connect 1 work with Java 8

Did you update your Settings in DB Connect 1? see this page:
http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DBX/1.2.2/DeployDBX/Troubleshoot

When I moved to Java 8 on DB Connect 1, I found this link useful:
https://answers.splunk.com/answers/233188/db-connect-and-java-versions.html

You may want to move from the jtds driver to the JDBC Driver for SQL Server.
