Why am I getting "XML Syntax Error: Cannot find object mapper for panel type: map" in Splunk App for AWS on 5.0.2?

We are trying to run http://apps.splunk.com/app/1274/, "Splunk App for AWS" on our Splunk 5.0.2 installation.

It installs cleanly, but when we try to launch it we get the error:
"XML Syntax Error: Cannot find object mapper for panel type: map"

The app specifically says it supports Splunk 5.0 - how can we get past the error above?

What version of the app are you using?

We installed the version we just downloaded from http://apps.splunk.com/app/1274/, 2.0

I see now that it does not list supporting 5.0 any more - not sure if it just did until recently, or if I misread.

In any event, tips welcome.

In that case grab the previous version, 1.3, and use that while still on Splunk 5.
