Why am I getting error "XML Syntax Error: Cannot find object mapper for panel type: title." trying to open the Fortinet Fortigate App for Splunk?

Installed the Fortinet Fortigate App and Add-On on my search head, but when I click on the app to try and open the app I get the following error: 

XML Syntax Error: Cannot find object mapper for panel type: title.

what version of splunk are you using? the app wouldn't support 6.1 and older
