Why am I getting an error trying to package an app with the command "./splunk.exe package app"?

Hi,

I have run the following command to create an .spl file for my app, but when I run it, it goes in error and in the Splunk\etc\system\static\app-packages folder, there is a folder with name DELETEME_

./splunk.exe package app 

I have already executed this command for the same app in the previous days and works correctly.

Please let me know.

yes I use also app_name, I have solved the problem renaming local folder on my app and re-run the command.

Seems your command is incomplete.

The documented syntax of the command is ./splunk package app <app_name> and it must be run from outside the <app> folder.
