Why am I always getting "HTTP Error 401: Authorization Required" trying to use the App for Flurry Data?

Hello,

I am getting HTTP Error 401: Authorization Required every time I try to use the App for Flurry Data. I have verified numerous times that my credentials are correct. Below is a snippet from the splunkd.log file. Has anyone else run into this, and is there a solution?

Thanks!

It appears that Flurry (the service) altered their authentication mechanism or their anti-bot heuristics again.

I don't have time these days to do detailed maintenance, so I am requesting that others send me a patch. Please send patch and related conversation to GitHub ticket: https://github.com/splunk/splunk-app-flurry/issues/5
