Website Monitoring App :Why am I Getting 401 response_code even after providing user credentials in HTTP authentication settings ?

Hello there,

I am using website monitoring app version 2.7.6 ,everything is working like a charm and app is really great and helpful but i am facing one issue with HTTP authentication, when I am trying to authenticate a URL by providing user credentials, its not working and giving me 401 error response_code.

I am sure that this website uses HTTP authentication as the webpage immediately pops up for username and password once you enter the URL , but what i am note sure is whether this functionality works for a HTTPS based URL's as my site's is using HTTPS. And if it works for https, than what am i doing wrong ? or is there any other way to make this work ?

Also to add the URL is of OWA which i am trying to authenticate.
