I am having issues configuring Wake-on-LAN in my environment, are there instructions for setting this up?

After you have the app installed, you will need open the wake-on-LAN view and create a new host entry for the hosts you want to wake. You will need the MAC address for each host.

A couple of things you need to know:

  1. The host you want to wake will need to be configured to have wake-on-LAN enabled
  2. The Splunk host will need to be on the same network as the host you want to wake

Thank you for the quick response. I have the app installed already and have my hosts configured for wake-on-LAN. All of the hosts are on the same network. I was hoping for more technical instructions for set-up and/or troubleshooting.

I should have stated the issues I have been experiencing, I want to say that it has to do with different Network Adapters and/or Network Adapter drivers.
