Using a proxy for Azure Monitor Add-on For Splunk

The 3 different inputs in the "Azure Monitor Add-on For Splunk" TA provide a number of settings to pull logs from an Azure event hub. But the Splunk heavy forwarder where the Add-On is installed is behind a firewall and inbound/outbound traffic is blocked. Can this Add-On be configured to use a proxy? I don't see a proxy setting on any of 3 input types in the Add-On.

Thanks.

Use the Splunk TA For Microsoft Cloud Services.

It has a tab for proxy configuration. Works fine on a HF.
