Use Base Search in Dashboards App (Beta)

I want to use a Base Search in the new Dashboards App. I can't figure out how to do this. Is it supported? This is an example of how I do it in the regular dashboards.

<search id="Base_Search">
   <query>index=iis |stats count by host</query>
</search>

<search base="Base_Search">
    <query>|search  host="199.191.128.43" |table count</query>
</search>

I can't see how to identify a dataSource as a base search and how to tell another dataSource to use it.

Thanks for any help.
