I suspect this is a configuration issue on the Solman side

Have confirmed i can wget and connect to the solman endpoint from the HF where i have installed the TA

I get the following in the modular input :

Encountered the following error while trying to save: Error connecting to SAP ODATA endpoint at http://hostname:8010/sap/opu/odata/sap?sap-client=100 - UnexpectedHTTPResponse 404 Not Found

If i try the URL i get a log in prompt and the credentials i have been given work - however i see this on login :

Should be ok for solman 7.2 support pack level 04 ?

I see you mention 7.2 SBS8 in the reference docs

From what I see, your SAP setup looks good (at least for the initial stage, you may need to add more metrics later on if necessary).
You just need to use http://hostname:8010/sap/opu/odata/sap as Solman service base URL during configuration of the modular input. Please check that there are no spaces, slashes or other extra characters around that value. You do not need the ?sap-client=100 part either. If you are still stuck, please write an email to Operational_Intelligence_Support@epam.com so that we can contact you and help.

Hello, Esky73 - We are standing by and will be glad to help with the deployment and troubleshooting. Once you have successfully run POC with the current version of our SAP->Splunk add-on, may I ask you for direct feedback? Perhaps you also could share key features you would like to see in our Enterprise Version, Thanks!

Could you please provide the Solman service base URL that you use?

The URL seems to be malformed, it looks like you have the "?client=100" appended in the end of the Solman service base URL. Please try removing that part.

http://hostname:8010/sap/opu/odata/sap?sap-client=100

Is the url given to me by the sap team - I did also try removing ?sap-client=100 as you mentioned but that also failed.

I referred back the the sap team and await their feedback
