TA-cisco_ios or something else?

I'm trying to get Cisco device (XE, XR, NXOS) security compliance data. Looks the add-on named TA-cisco_ios collects data needed. But the Splunkbase shows it as not from Splunk or Cisco and not supported. Is there a better option to do this that I can download?

Whilst the app isnt built/supported by Splunk, the developer looks very active as there are regular updates and over 100,000 downloads! The developer also states that for troubleshooting you can also contact them via email (mikael@bjerkeland.com) too if this helps?

My question was not if the pack was good enough to use but more related to our internal policy -- want to see if a supported equivalent is available.

Just be aware that
