SplunkIt NOT Generating All of Input Log File

I am trying to use SplunkIt on a test AIX Indexer to compare performance with a test Linux Indexer. The 50GB log file generated just fine on the Linux server but on the AIX server it stops at 2GB and reports "Input file not found - please check your filepath."

I am under a tight schedule to get this testing done and I'd really love to have compatible data on both servers but it does not look like the data generation script works properly on AIX. Suggestions on what to look for as potential cause?

With assistance, I discovered that there are some commands in the python script that are not responding properly on AIX. In particular is the os.path.exists testing for the log file. It returns false even when the file is there. I got around this by commenting out this test -- I know the file is there so why bother checking, especially since the test was not working properly.
