Splunk Software Distribution with - System Center Configuration Manager - SCCM
Did anybody already distribute Splunk as a package using Microsoft "System Center Configuration Manager" SCCM ? I do not know this product but have to create a package definition for distributing Splunk Forwarders to Win Servers.
Are there any experiences and probably an example Package Definition File available, you would like to share here ?
Thanks a lot, Meno

I think a batch file doesn't help here as a specific file in Package Definition Format is required:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb632631.aspx
I wonder where in this file I have to put the Forwarder specific parameters as described here:
http://www.splunk.com/base/Documentation/4.1.3/Installation/InstallonWindowsviathecommandline
Cheers,
Meno
