Splunk MINT: Why am I seeing inconsistent Daily User and Session counts between iOS and Android?

We're seeing inconsistent Daily Active User and Session Counts between iOS and Android
• How is the count of daily Sessions generated for iOS vs Android?
• How is the count of Daily Active Users generated for iOS vs Android?
• What might cause our Android Counts to be inflated?
• Is there anything we can do to improve the accuracy of the counts?

• Is it common to see a difference between the two platforms?
