Splunk DB connect Checkpoint Issue

Hello All,

I need to define checkpoint at two positions

like
select * from table_one where timestamp> checkpoint
UNION ALL
select * from table_two where timestamp > checkpoint

I can't use single timestamp as the one table is very huge in size.
