Splunk DB Connect Error There was an error processing your request. It has been logged (ID xyz) when creating an input.

  • The JDBC driver works fine.
  • The query renders the right data
  • The issue is the new input cant be saved due to "Error There was an error processing your request"
  • I've found some old community posts that mention the configuration just needs to be manually applied to the inputs.conf file instead of using the GUI?  Is this valid?  If so would someone mind sharing the output of a inputs.conf file for SQL &/Or MongoDB?
