Splunk App for Salesforce: Why can I not see Apex and VisualForce Performance data?

Hi,

I'm using the 15 days trial of Splunk Cloud and Splunk App For Salesforce.

Searching by index=sfdc, I can find all sourcetypes listed in the documentation (account, loginhistory, logfile, user, opportunity, report, dashboard).

The user has the following permissions:

  • View Event Log Files;
  • API Enabled;
  • View All Data.

I cannot see any Apex or Visual Force performance data. Can you help me in understanding why, please?

What can I check in order to verify if problem is Splunk or SFDC side?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best Regards,
Alessandro.

I finally figured this one out today.

From the documentation:

The Login and Logout events are available in supported Salesforce editions at no additional cost. Contact Salesforce to purchase the remaining event types.
