Splunk Add-on for Squid Proxy: Why do I get a 404 error on /splunk/en-US/app/Splunk_TA_squid/setup ?

Hi,

I installed the Splunk Add-on for Squid Proxy on a search head and when I try to start the app, I get a 404 error on /splunk/en-US/app/Splunk_TA_squid/setup.

Hi Arjan,

This add-on is not meant to be visible and there is no setup page. All you need to do is install it and configure a monitor input following the instructions in the documentation. http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/AddOns/latest/Squid/Configureinputs

If you inadvertently turned on the visibility for this add-on, turn it back off for best results. More information: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/AddOns/latest/Overview/Troubleshootadd-ons#Check_if_the_add-on_...

Ok I understand but is there an app where I can see the results of the squid logs?
