Splunk Add-on for NetApp Data ONTap: Can collector and heavy forwarder roles be performed by the same Splunk Heavy forwarder?

The documentation shows that we need both a Heavy Forwarder for syslog and a collector. Can both roles be performed by the same Splunk heavy forwarder?
