I am developing an add-on and need to use the interval time as a variable in my script. Can someone please help me? I have looked into the helper class functions and don't see anything.

Please try helper.get_input_stanza(YOUR_INPUT_STANZA). It can get all the parameters in your data input stanza, including interval.

Please note that this "interval" is a reserved parameter for Splunk, which defines how Splunk schedule your data input. If you want to add your own scheduler within your data input internally, please create another param like "duration" or "my_interval".

How do you set your input to use the custom interval? I need to be able to set a cron schedule as the input interval as the input only needs to run once a week on the first day of the week

Sorry currently we only support seconds as an interval. May add cron support in future release.
