Hi

Any idea how to overcome this error while collecting Salesforce Eventlog data? I can get Object data without any issues though...

    invoke_results = self._process_handler.execute(context)
except:
    logger.exception("Task=%s encountered exception", self)
    raise CCESplitError
if not invoke_results or not \
        invoke_results.get(CCESplitTask.OUTPUT_KEY):

Thank you

Hi,

I had the same problem recently.
Solution for me was to give the user that is used to connect to Salesforce following permissions:

  • View all data
  • API Enabled

More info about Salesforce Event Log: “Event monitoring is an API-only feature. It isn’t anywhere in the Salesforce Setup area. Instead, each organization’s event log files are stored in an API object called EventLogFile. Salesforce provides an API tool called Workbench that lets you access your EventLogFile objects. (https://sfdc.nicmcbride.com/event-monitoring/)”

Best regards,
MP

I have the same issue, just asked our account manager to change the permissions.
Thanks
