Possible bug with DB Connect 2.0.5 on Splunk 6.2.6?

Hi

I am unable to get DB Connect to working properly on Splunk 6.2.6. When clicking on the Operations tab, I see the error:
Unable to load page. Internal Server Error

I looked in the dbx2.log and here is the error there:
[WARNING] [format.py] There was an error parsing the feed document. Error: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !
Bytes: 0x82 0xA4 0x46 0x5C, line 2242, column 47

I've tested this on three platforms with same result (Debian,Centos and Mac).

However when I upgrade to Splunk 6.3, it fixed the issue.

Regards
Brandom

this is indeed a known bug, SPL-108288
i am told the recommendation is to disable the splunk_6_3_overview app

Facing the same issue with 6.2.0.
@Splunk Support Team: Can you please confirm if this is a bug? Should more time be spent on trying to resolve the integration issue of DB Connect 2 with Splunk Enterprise 6.2.0 or should we acknowledge it as a known issue with only possible fix of upgrading to Splunk Enterprise 6.3?
