Not able to see the inputs in db_inputs.conf

Hi ,

I have added many inputs to the dbconnect app.

But unfortunately i dont see any in my db_inputs.conf

Also if there is no inputs in this folder,i shouldn't be seeing any inputs in GUI of dbconnect,but im able to see it and it is sending data to splunk.

How to solve it???

I just figured out this for our configurations.... basically the inputs were under a different app context... I went into each input we had setup and changed it back to the DB Connect app.

Can you try to find out the db_inputs.conf file under the below location.

$SPLUNK_HOME//etc/apps/splunk_app_db_connect/local

Can you please let me know if you have created any connection and inputs on the UI. If not please try to do so, I believe than you will able to find db_inputs.conf in same.

Hi bro,

I had added almost like 600 inputs directly into the folder,instead of going thr UI.
