We are pinging so many devices that all the messages being written to this log are killing performance.

is there a way to stop all the confirmation messages from being written to ping_modular_input.log ? I've tried to comment out self.logger.info lines in ping.py but then logging stops altogether.

I opened a bug to reduce the count of these messages. I am targeting the next maintenance release for this fix.

See https://lukemurphey.net/issues/2292

Update:

I put in a fix that reduces the number of log messages significantly. The change is released in version 1.2.7.
