Hi, I installed splunk for nagios using nagios 4.0, followed all the instructions and I can see the data from the sourcetypes on splunk, but I cant see any graph or host.

Just as reference I did another installation using nagios 3.x with the same result, the data is in splunk but I cant see any graphs.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Did you follow the instructions on the Splunk4nagios Apps page? By default Nagios throws away performance data is you do not configure it to use it.

Anyone know what means "nagiosevent" in this search?

search index="nagios" (nagiosevent="SERVICE ALERT" NOT status="OK") OR (nagiosevent="HOST ALERT" hoststatus="DOWN") | fields + _time,src_host,name,severity,reason

I can´t find anything that matches with nagiosevent...
