NMON Splunk App - Looking for contributor (AIX compatibility for lightweight forwarder)

Hi,

I am currently looking for some (easy) contribution in the context of Nmon Splunk App:

What i need is someone with access to some AIX systems (running Lpar or standalone systems, whatever) to help me testing and/or correcting the conversion script of Nmon app under AIX.

The application needs to convert nmon files into structured data Splunk will manage, it uses a third party script "nmon2csv.pl" called by the Splunk archive processor whenever required.

Probably this script may require some evolution to work under AIX, but i have no idea if this works as it is or not... because i'm currently lacking access to an AIX shell.

The application has been designed at the origin to massively convert, index and exploit Nmon data of AIX systems, then adapted to Linux and Solaris.

Quickly came the interest of designing the App to directly collect Nmon data on both indexers and forwarders through Splunk itself, this has been validated on many Linux OS and Solaris, unfortunately not yet for AIX.
