Location of the servers

Hello,

I'm considering to get the "Splunk Enterprise" or "Splunk Cloud" licenses. One question that I have is:

• Is it possible, for whatever license, to choose the location of the Splunk servers?

For example, can I choose to store the data of my clients in Europe?

With a regular Splunk Enterprise license, you can put your Splunk setup anywhere you want right? You are in control.

This question seems only valid to me for Splunk Cloud (where it is Splunk who provides you with a hosted Splunk Environment).
