Location Tracker - Custom Visualization: How to disable drilldown?

I can't seem to disable drilldown through UI or XML on the Location Tracker dashboards. Is this simply not possible or is there some trick to doing this?

The simple answer is no. You can't disable it through the UI or XML. The drilldown is bound to each marker's 'click' mouse event in the code. The app author would need to expose a setting in the format menu and toggle the drilldown based on the value.
