Localization in non-visible app - Splunk Community

Am I correct in assuming localizations are performed based on your app context and that non-visible apps do not need locale specified?

are you talking about translation?

Or localization for normalisation, ie. windows events from non-US windows Operating system have locale fieldname and values?
