JSON syntax highlight reorders data

We submit JSON log events to splunk enterprise.

When viewing the log in the raw text mode in splunk everything is fine and in the order data is generated.

But in the syntax highlighted mode it switches the order of the items in the array, specifically in alphabetical order.

Is there a way to turn this off?

Where is there documentation about how Splunk does this?

One way around this we've found is to table out the field that contains the array, ie

| table _time host my_array{}
