JMX Input Failing with Exception

Looking for a little insight on an exception I'm receiving with a new JMX input I am setting up.

Here is the exception:

2016-03-03 06:16:21,501 - com.splunk.modinput.ModularInput -589273363 [Thread-2] ERROR - Error unmarshaling return; nested exception is: java.io.WriteAbortedException: writing aborted; java.io.NotSerializableException: com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtx

I do have other inputs that are working on other JVMs successfully so I don't think it is anything related to the setup of the app or its dependencies. I'm assuming it is something related to the JVM setup but I'm looking for a little insight on the best place to start troubleshooting.

Turns out the credentials were modified without my knowledge and the password had been changed. Updating the definition in Splunk to have the correct password fixed this issue.
