Is there any documentation for the Search ElasticSearch app?

I just downloaded the Search ElasticSearch app. Is there any doc or config settings that can be shared?

This app appears to have been removed from Splunkbase. If you google around you might find the application owner and some support but my guess is he either won the lottery, etc. or didnt offer good support.
