Is there any UF for windows NT4 or windows 2000? and are they supported?

Is there any supported version of Universal Forwarder that can be installed into windows 2000 or NT4?

its having big list of windows versions, but the oldest ones are - Windows XP, 2003, Vista

well, windows NT4 or windows 2000 Universal forwarder can not be officially supported, as per other posts here at answers, the UF may get installed and will work fine. you will not get official splunk support. that is the only issue.

or, maybe, without installing a UF
- or, maybe, you can configure syslog-ng and send the logs
- scripted inputs to collect the logs and send it to splunk.

It does not support. However, you can install if version 5.X.X.
