Is it possible to install and use the Splunk DB Connect app on a Raspberry Forwarder in the same way it is on a "normal" forwarder?

Extremely unlikely... you'd need to start here -- https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/oracle-java-on-raspberry-pi/ and you may not have enough horsepower to actually use the web interface, you'll want to write conf files by hand. It should go without saying that this is all wildly unsupported, but I hope it works!

Thx for the response. I was afraid that was going to be the answer but at least I know for sure now. I'll look into it and possible alternatives.
