Invalid activation token Splunk AI Assistant for SPL - for Enterprise

Hello everyone,

I’m currently facing an issue with activating the Splunk AI Assistant for SPL.

According to the documentation, and as confirmed by Splunk support, a personal developer license should work with this app. However, after receiving the activation token via email and entering it, I get the following error:

“The activation token you entered is invalid or does not match this deployment. Please check the activation token and try again.”

I’ve already tried reinstalling the app and Splunk, as well as testing with different dev licenses, but the issue still persists.

Splunk support has escalated the problem internally, but I wanted to check if anyone here has experienced the same issue or has any ideas on how to resolve it.

Hi @thang4 

i am not much sure how to help you. but still let me suggest 2 things: 

1) may i know if you copied the activation code correctly?(after copy pasting the code, by mistake, did you enter a space button?)
2) if activation code is copied right and if still gives an error, then, you have to contact the splunkai@splunk.com only

Thank you for your support,

1) Im quite sure that I copied the token correctly.

2) Im currently in contact with Splunk support, but they are still investigating the issue internally.

I think that the problem may be the license, but the tech of splunk confirm that the dev license is working in them enviroment.
