Hello Thanks for the response, so my end goal is to fetch more information from Splunk onto Azure. I have installed a splunk addon for micorosft azure on the splunk server, but i am unable to open the tgz file, I am following the below link for the configurations:

https://github.com/splunk/splunk-add-on-microsoft-azure/wiki/Install-the-Splunk-Add-on-for-Microsoft...

I am just wondering that should i proceed further on this or should i wait for the tgz file to be accesible?

I'm confused.  You say you've installed the add-on and also that you can't open the tgz file.  Add-ons are delivered in tgz files so if the file can't be opened then it can't be installed.  If the add-on is installed then there's no need to open the tgz.  See why I'm confused?  What tgz file are you trying to open and why can you not open it?

Which tgz file did you install?  How do you proceed further with what?  What is your goal?  The more information you can provide, the better we can help you.
