Hello All,

We have a requirement were we want to take user inputs from a text input field's and remove any events that are happening during those time frames from Dashboards in our app.

I have been able to use this token values in same Dashboard 1 for removing events for a time range. Could you please help me how can i pass this token value for Text input from one Dashboard to another and use this token in queries for Dashboard 2, when a user enters fields values and clicks submit.

@sharma11031988 you would need to take the following steps:

1) Add a text input in your destination dashboard
2) Pass the input value from source to destination dashboard using form token passed in query string.
3) Hide the input in the destination dashboard using "depends" attribute in case your requirement is not to show the selected input. Also to prevent modification of input value in the destination dashboard.

Please let us know if you need working example. On a different note, in case you do not want to use querystring you can look at the following alternative where user inputs are saved to lookup (you can use KVStore instead): https://answers.splunk.com/answers/617305/how-can-i-give-the-to-the-users-to-save-their-sele.html
