I have the both the slack add-on and app. I installed the add-on to my forwarder and indexers. Looking at the documentation it indicated creating a local/inputs.conf with fields - Name, token, max_days. It appears the name field is not valid as I took a stanza error on that. I am not sure what the token should be, i was given a app id, client id, client secret, validation token and a authorization token.
There is also the default/inputs.conf that has host name, interval and sourcetype. My thought was to combine all that with the name, token and max_days into a single local/inputs.conf
Thoughts? Suggestions?
