How to get internal gitlab logs

Hey there.
I see that there is a gitlab app but it seems that you have to look to the gitlab.org site, and not my internal gitlab server.
Am I missing this setup item?
Also, any thoughts people have on logging gitlab into Splunk is MUCH appreciated!
