How to Install the Splunk Application in Windows?

Hai,
I am trying to re installed Splunk 6.2 in windows machine. But I am not able to uninstall the old one from control panel. When I try to repair the installed Splunk instance it gives error "Fatal error during installation".

So now I am not able to uninstall or repair the Splunk.

Like @martin_mueller said, why not just upgrade? There have been many problems with the Splunk uninstaller over the years. The best way to do this is to upgrade (install) to 7.1.latest, At that point, the uninstaller should work and then you can start completely over and use the version that you like. There are many Answers posts with answers about how to clean up the registry manually.

Have you tried using a recent version of Splunk? 6.6.x, 7.0.x, 7.1.x?
It should upgrade the existing installation.
